Chamonix France Provides a Fantastic Place for Snowboarding Breaks

Chamonix Mont Blanc is located at the base of the majestic Mt Blanc in France and is widely regarded as the Alpine climbing and snowboarding epi centre of France. Chamonix town is known as a true playground for extreme activities in both winter and summer. Chamonix Mont Blanc hosted the first Olympics in 1924 - but it’s also an area of amazing natural beauty providing much to the adventurous skier and holiday maker.

Differing from a lot of up to date skiing domains Chamonix isn’t a purpose built ski area and has been largely saved from the concrete resorts that blights a lot of the French Alps. Chamonix Mont Blanc is lucky to have not only and infamous ski field but a classic and thriving centre.

The town is large enough to guarantee that there is a lot of activities for the non-skier to do and see. For whatever type of trip there is an activity to please anyone. There is an impressive sports centre, spas, museum and weekly market; and loads of boutiques, terraced caf©s and night clibs, Chamonix offers a choice of skiing, old town charm and shopping, which few mountain resorts can come close to. Why not research that ski holiday at once.
