Breathing Exercise for Cleansing the Body
A really effective but simple way to keep the body nourished, cleansed and disease-free is to oxygenize your body regularly. I’m talking about a breathing exercise that involves filling the lungs with nutritive air. Oxygenating our body will facilitate your body’s natural detox process?
Air is free and easy. Regrettably our air can be polluted in many cities, so be sure to keep this in mind. You do not want to perform your deep breathing exercise waiting on the corner of a busy street looking for the bus. Ideally you should do your breathing technique at home, inside or outside if it happens to be in a place where the air is relatively pure.
Begin by standing tall and straight, take in a deep, soothing breath, filling your stomach until you feel it could explode. Keep in the air for as long as you’re able (never, ever force it), then slowly expel it through your mouth. Repeat by doing 5 to 10 long deep breaths in this same way.
Over time, you can modify this breath practice by bringing the arms above your head during the inhale, and softly lower them as you exhale.
Oxygenizing the body pushes oxygen into the circulatory system, which transports it to the cells and tissues to nutrify and clean them of toxic waste. Augmented oxygen in your system induces blood flow as well as the circulation of lymph fluid throughout our lymphatic system.
